What is SAVOIRR's Smart Keyword Ratio, and how does it work?
When SAVOIRR's algorithm identifies results that match your keyword setting, it evaluates their relevance by calculating a value between 0 (not relevant) and 5 (highly relevant) in the context of the current search or of your focus area.
To assess the relevance of a result, we consider the following aspects:
- Location
If your keyword appears in the title or ID of a document, or within the custom data, the ratio will be higher compared to when the keyword is mentioned in the summary or full text attachment. - Frequency
The more frequently a keyword appears in a document, the more relevant the result will be to you. - Match
SAVOIRR's algorithm considers a match if three letters from your keyword are found in the content. Setting a keyword without quotation marks, i.e., pharma, will include results such as Pharaoh or harm as relevant, but they will rank lower than results like pharmacological or pharma.
