Custom Data Fields
Boost your team's efficiency with Custom Fields in SAVOIRR. These fields digitise your workflow and improve collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, making it easy to tailor the platform to your specific needs.
Custom Fields allow you to add internal comments and indicate your positioning on files. They are visible under Additional information on the right side of an item and can be defined individually for consultations, procedures, documents, people and organisations. You can easily edit existing fields and adjust their visibility for different user groups through the settings, ensuring that only relevant users have access.
Creating New Custom Fields
You can create a custom field for consultations, procedures, documents, people and organisations. There are default custom fields already in place such as
- Short title
- relevance
- attachments
You can add more custom fields easily as follows:
- Click on the name of your organisation in the navigation on the top left.
- Select Custom Data Fields.
- Select the type of custom field you want to add to the items overview.
For instance, to indicate a file's urgency, create an options field with choices like "Low," "Medium," and "High." This enables you to filter files based on their urgency, streamlining your workflow.
Types of Custom Data Fields
There are various types of fields available that allow you to manage issues and stakeholder:
- Short Text: Allows you to add a note (this field has no formatting option)
Formattable text: Allow to select formatting options such as typography (bold, cursive, etc.), create lists and adjust the text to your internal conventions.
Single-select options: Allows you to predefine options to quickly add information to the item. You and/or your team can select only one of the proposed options.
Multi-select options: Allows you to predefine options to quickly add information to the item. You and/or your team can select multiple proposed options.
- Attachments: Allows you to upload additional documents related to a specific item.
The new fields will appear on every item of this specific type.
