Release 2.18 - 29 April 2026

In Release 2.18, we have successfully rolled out a new series of improvements and bug fixes. Our focus this time was on expanding your reporting capabilities, refining the profiles of parliamentarians, and giving you greater control over your daily dashboard and calendar view.

📊 Dashboard

Inbox Experience for Widgets: You can now hide items directly from the Focus Area and Updates sections of the dashboard. This gives you more control over your dashboard, allowing for a cleaner, distraction-free "inbox" experience.

👥 Profiles & Committees

New "Interest Groups" Section: Swiss Member of Parliament profiles now feature a dedicated section for interest groups, providing deeper insights into their political networks and affiliations.
Optimized Party Chips: We have improved the visual display of party abbreviations on profiles to ensure they fit their chips perfectly and are easier to read.
Current Committee Members Only: To keep your lists relevant, former members are now automatically hidden from committee overviews.
Clean Organization Display: We resolved a visual issue where organization abbreviations were overflowing their display containers.

📈 Reports & Exports

Export Memberships and Interests: You can now include a person's "Memberships and Interests" when exporting reports, making your stakeholder mapping and briefings even more comprehensive.
Export Political Activities: We have expanded the export capabilities so you can now seamlessly include a politician's initiatives directly in your generated reports.

📅 Calendar, Timeline & Reminders

Clearer Calendar Entries: Calendar items now display the ID and title first, followed by the specific event (happening). This optimised information architecture allows you to grasp your upcoming schedule much faster.
Flexible Timeline Events: When creating custom events on your timeline, the "time" field is now optional, giving you more flexibility when logging all-day occurrences or general notes.
Enhanced Reminders: We implemented several user experience improvements to make managing and following up on your reminders smoother and more intuitive.

🗳️ Votes & Notifications

Vote Sorting: You can now sort data directly on the detailed vote pages, making it much easier to analyse voting behaviours and parliamentary outcomes.
Detailed Email Notifications: Your automated email alerts now include specific information about the legislative level, providing you with better context at a glance before you even open the app.

🛠️ System Settings & Data Quality

Refined Read-Only Access: To clean up the interface for read-only accounts, the "Watchlist" is no longer assigned as a default tag for these users.
Restored Filter Functionality: We fixed an issue affecting the "Levels and Bodies" filters to ensure your searches remain accurate and reliable.
Data Corrections: We successfully added missing consultation data for the Canton of Aargau (AG) and cleaned up technical errors related to artifact event dates.
